Frazsier's Whip maintained their flawless record in the 2024 Jamaica Women’s Premier League on Saturday, grinding out a 2-0 win over Los Perfectos to make it 12 wins from 12 matches. The defending champions continue to set the standard, with Cavaliers SC staying within reach after dispatching UWI 4-1.

Once again, Destiny Powell was the catalyst for Frazsiers Whip, striking in the 41st and 60th minutes to secure victory in Mandeville. Though not their most dominant performance of the season, it was another professional outing from the league leaders, who continue to look untouchable at the top of the table.

Cavaliers SC, however, remain within striking distance, led by the brilliant Tatyana Polack. The forward netted a hat-trick with goals in the 16th, 32nd, and 55th minutes, while Kersha Thomas added another in the 51st to complete a commanding 4-1 win over UWI. Chris-Ann Chambers pulled one back for the hosts in the 72nd minute, but the result was never in doubt as Cavaliers kept up their chase.

Elsewhere, WiFi United produced the biggest scoreline of the day, hammering Springers 7-1 in a ruthless attacking display. Tuanna McBean opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, followed by a brace from Tashel Davis (26th, 80th), while Evernique McCleary (38th), Denisha Harris (48th), and Kafele Gibbs (50th, 57th) all contributed to the onslaught. Fredricka Finnikin netted a late consolation for Springers in the 82nd minute. Despite the emphatic win, WiFi United remain outside the title picture.

Arnett Gardens also enjoyed success on the road, blanking Mile Gully 2-0 thanks to first-half and second-half goals from Abigail Mullings (21st) and Shikira Douglas (63rd) respectively.

The day’s only drawn encounter came in a thrilling 2-2 contest between Proven and Real Mobay. Nadisha Jones gave Real Mobay an early lead in the 4th minute, but Proven responded through Julicia Pinnock, who bagged a brace in the 53rd and 79th. In between, Kryshanna Reid had restored Real Mobay’s advantage in the 56th, but Proven did just enough to share the points.

As the regular season winds down, Frazsier's Whip remain in command, but Cavaliers are refusing to go away quietly—setting up a tense finish in the race for the 2024 JWPL crown.
