Jamaican striker Jalmaro Calvin has completed a move from Wray & Nephew Jamaica Premier League champions Cavalier SC to Scottish Premier League club St. Mirren FC.
Calvin has signed a two-year deal with St. Mirren that the club until the summer of 2027 with the club holding the option to extend for a further year.
The 22-year-old, who scored 39 goals in 101 appearances for Cavalier and featured in the Concacaf Champions Cup, joins up with his former teammate Richard King who completed a similar move earlier in the summer.
"Jalmaro was a player that kept coming up every time we looked at Richard. We’ve built up a really good relationship with Cavalier and their owner Rudolph Speed,” said St. Mirren manager Stephen Robinson.
“He reminds me of Toyosi Olusanya in terms of that raw pace that he can offer us in the wide areas," he added.
Calvin will wear the number 17 shirt.
