Oklahoma junior Ralford Mullings led a Jamaican 1-2 in the Men’s Discus Throw on Saturday’s third and final day of the 2025 SEC Outdoor Championships in Kentucky.
Mullings produced a best throw of 66.48m to take the win ahead of Alabama junior Trevor Gunzell who had a best throw of 63.44m. Florida senior Jacob Lemmon was third with a personal best 61.80m.
Elsewhere in the field, Kentucky junior Luke Brown took silver in the Men’s Triple Jump with a best jump of 16.33m in the first round.
The other Jamaican winner on the day was Florida freshman Habiba Harris who took top spot in the Women’s 100m hurdles in 12.75 ahead of Auburn sophomore Ana-Liese Torian (12.92) and Texas A&M junior Jaiya Covington (12.93).
Caymanian LSU sophomore Jaiden Reid ran 20.15 to take third in the Men’s 200m behind Auburn senior Makanakaishe Charamba (20.08) and Arkansas sophomore Jordan Anthony who ran a personal best 19.93.
Reid was also fifth in the 100m with a personal best 10.08. Anthony also took gold in that event with a personal best 9.95.
Florida junior Anthaya Charlton added to her Long Jump title with bronze in the 100m in 11.14 behind LSU sophomore Tima Godbless (11.06) and South Carolina sophomore JaMeesia Ford (11.06).
USVI star and Georgia freshman Michelle Smith took silver in the Women’s 400m hurdles in 55.34 behind Texas sophomore Akala Garrett (54.84) and ahead of Arkansas sophomore Saira Prince (56.04).
Jamaican Arkansas senior Rivaldo Marshall ran 1:45.81 to take third in the Men’s 800m behind Mississippi State senior Abdullahi Hassan (1:45.64) and Texas A&M senior Sam Whitmarsh (1:45.35).
