South Africa “A” ended day three of their first Four Day encounter with the West Indies “A” on the verge of victory at the Daren Sammy Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St. Lucia on Tuesday.

The South Africans, after starting the day 546-6 in 105 overs, got up to 600-7 in 112.3 overs before declaring with a sizeable lead of 360 runs.

Prenelan Subrayen, who started the day 31*, finished 64* off 77 balls including seven fours and a six.

The West Indies “A” were 251-6 in 73 overs at stumps, trailing by 109 runs.

Kevlon Anderson has, so far, led the way with 52 while Alick Athanaze fell one short of 50 in support.

Ronaldo Alimohamed ended the day 34*, the same score made by Mikyle Louis earlier while Kavem Hodge made 38 and skipper Tevin Imlach made 31.

Subrayen finished the day with 3-71 from his 27 overs of off-spin.
