The West Indies Academy secured an innings and 26-run win over the Sri Lanka Emerging Players early on day three of their second Four Day encounter at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua on Monday.

Sri Lanka, after entering day three 1-1 after one over, were dismissed for just 107 in 25.1 overs.

The bulk of the scoring came from captain Dhananjaya Lakshan who made 50 off 34 balls including seven fours as no other Sri Lankan batsman got past 15 against some excellent bowling from the West Indians.

Pacers Kelvin Pitman, Raneico Smith and Nathan Edward all bowled excellently.

Pitman led the charge with 3-22 from seven overs while Smith and Edward picked up 3-29 from eight overs and 2-36 from seven overs, respectively.

Leg spinner Zishan Motara bowled 1.1 overs and picked up 2-4.

The two teams will now turn their attention to three 50 Over games from June 21-26.
