Commonwealth Games champions Fedrick Dacres, Kyron McMaster, Shaunae Miller-Uibo, Janieve Russell, and Levern Spencer are among more than 20 Caribbean athletes selected to represent the Americas in the 2018 IAAF Continental Cup in Ostrava September 8-9.

The world-leading discus thrower Fedrick Dacres added another notch to his powerful right arm when he won the event on Sunday’s final day of the 2018 NACAC Senior Championships in Toronto, Canada.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Fedrick Dacres lead a 42-member Jamaican team to the 2018 NACAC Championships in Toronto, Canada. The championships begin on Friday, August 10 and end on Sunday, August 12.

Meanwhile, Olympic and World Champion Omar McLeod suffered a rare defeat and lost his meet record in the process.
