The West Indies Academy trail the Sri Lanka Emerging Players by 159 runs at stumps on day one of their second Four Day game at Coolidge in Antigua.

Sri Lanka, after winning the toss and choosing to bat, were dismissed for 241 in 60.1 overs. Anjala Bandara led the scoring with 56* off 104 balls while Ahan Wickramsinghe made 48.

Sohan de Livera, who made a century in the first game, also batted well for 41.

Left arm spinner Joshua Bishop picked up 3-68 from 16 overs to lead the West Indies Academy bowling while Zishan Motara, Raneico Smith and Nathan Edward all took two wickets, each.

The Academy got to 82-1 at stumps in 23 overs. Ackeem Auguste, coming off 82 in his last innings, ended the day 47* off 77 balls. Mavendra Dindyal was at the crease alongside Auguste on 13 at stumps.
