The Caymanian pair of Jaiden Reid and Davonte Howell both produced career-best performances to advance to the final of the Men’s 100m on Wednesday’s first fay of the 2025 NCAA Division 1 Outdoor Championships at the Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.

LSU sophomore Reid, running in the third semi-final, produced an excellent 10.02 to finish second behind teammate Jelani Watkins, who also ran 10.02, and advance to Friday’s final.

Howell, a sophomore at the University of Tennessee, was third in that same heat in a personal best-equaling 10.05 to advance as well.
