Jamaican 400m standout Junelle Bromfield and her fiancé, Olympic and World 100m champion Noah Lyles, are capturing hearts off the track with their appearance on the cover of the latest issue of The Knot magazine.
The couple, whose engagement in October 2024 made headlines across the sporting world, are now sharing an intimate glimpse into their journey—from elite athletics to planning their walk down the aisle. The feature, in the latest edition of the magazine and social platforms, includes a romantic photo spread and what the magazine describes as the couple’s “most vulnerable interview yet.”
“They say love is a marathon, not a sprint—but when you’re @nojo18 and @junellebromfield, it’s both,” The Knot teased on Instagram, referencing the couple’s shared background in track and field. “The Olympians are running towards the aisle, and they’re telling us all about it… from their inspiring love story, to navigating struggle in the midst of success, and their (BIG) plans for their wedding day and beyond.”
Bromfield, the Tokyo Olympic bronze medallist and Commonwealth Games silver medallist, echoed the emotion behind the shoot in a heartfelt Instagram post:
“From the track to the altar—our journey is built on love, laughter, and showing up as our full, authentic selves. This shoot meant the world to us because it’s about the story we’re telling. One of joy, and celebrating our love story.”
The feature comes as the track and field world ramps up for the summer season, but for Bromfield and Lyles, who is a world champion in the 100m and 200m, love appears to be the ultimate finish line they’re crossing together.
A wedding date has yet to be publicly revealed, but fans can now enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at the couple’s engagement journey through The Knot’s exclusive feature.
